We have created a comprehensive plan in compliance with the State of Texas for receiving services at Dimensions Massage Therapy. We strongly advice to review and follow all recommendations from the CDC before patronizing Dimensions Massage Therapy. This plan will be updated and edited frequently to remain in compliance with evolving information and guidance.

Please do not schedule an appointment and be sure to cancel any existing appointments if you have experienced any of the listed symptoms in the last 14 days:

- Cough

- Shortness of breath or difficulty breathing

- Chills

- Repeated shaking with chills

- Body aches

- Sore throat

- Loss of taste or smell

- Diarrhea

- Feeling feverish or a measured temperature greater than or equal to 100.0 degrees Fahrenheit

- Known close contact with a person who is lab confirmed to have COVID-19

If you are in a known severe risk category for COVID-19 we also ask that you refrain from setting up any appointments until further notice. These risk include:

• People 65 years and older

• People who live in a nursing home or long-term care facility

• People with chronic lung disease or moderate to severe asthma

• People who have serious heart conditions

• People who are immunocompromised

◦ Many conditions can cause a person to be immunocompromised, including cancer treatment, smoking, bone marrow or organ transplantation, immune deficiencies, poorly controlled HIV or AIDS, and prolonged use of corticosteroids and other immune weakening medications

• People with severe obesity (body mass index [BMI] of 40 or higher)

• People with diabetes

• People with chronic kidney disease undergoing dialysis

• People with liver disease

Scheduling a massage:

All massage until further notice will require an appointment made in advance over the phone, through the app or the website. To limit unnecessary contact we will require pre-payment for all services prior to arrival.

Client Protocol for arrival, presence and departure:

  • You may be asked to have your temperature checked and/or blood oxygen saturation checked upon arrival.

  • Do not show up more than 5 minutes prior to your appointment. If necessary wait in your vehicle or outside until your appointment time.

  • On our end we will arrange our schedule to limit client interactions with other clients as much as possible. However, there may be instances of start and end times occasionally lining up. In those scenarios we ask for you to keep as much distance as possible from one another.

  • Do not bring other people in with you. Our lobby is off limits to anyone that doesn’t have an appointment.

  • All clients and staff alike must wear mask or facial coverings in common areas. Clients may take off mask once in the treatment room while undressing for their massage session.

  • Do not touch objects or surfaces that are not necessary. This includes our water dispenser. Please allow your therapist to distribute any water that you may want or need.

  • Please store a Credit Card on file for gratuity and further purchases to limit contact with desk staff.

***Although we live by the schedule as massage therapist, please understand that we will have to be flexible with times on occasion. We will do our best to update you if an appointment is running behind prior to arrival but expect that this may happen.

Unfortunately due to the COVID-19 outbreak and mounting pressures from professional organizations, customers, and all levels of government to quarantine, we will be closing our doors until April 1st. Although there is a lot of uncertainty for businesses we'd like to  express that we are in a financial position to reopen our doors and continue serving you once this 2 week quarantine recommendation is lifted. All clients with packages and prepaid services will have the expiration extended equal to the duration of the closure.  At this time we’d like to reassure all of you of our commitment to continue serving you in the future. Everyone of us at Dimensions loves providing massage therapy services and is eager to get back to serving you as soon as possible.

As the corona virus starts spreads and reshapes the lives of everybody across the globe, our hearts are with you empathetically and our minds are working towards being part of the solution. During these times we like to emphasize our commitment to health and wellbeing of the Austin community. Fortunately as a business that puts wellness at the forefront of its day to day operations, we are optimistic in our ability to weather the storm. Already Dimensions practices proper hygiene protocols to prevent the spread of common illnesses such as influenza that translate into safe practices for the corona virus.

Things we already do:

  • Daily cleaning of commonly touched objects and tools essential to service

  • Thorough washing of hands, forearms, and feet between every session

  • We encourage that therapist call-off whenever feeling even the slightest bit ill. Some of you may have already been asked to reschedule appointments in the past for this reason. This is already common protocol to prevent the spread of other pathogens and now the corona virus.

  • Bleach wash of all linens and towels used for massage and sauna services.

  •  Available hand sanitizer in the lobby, massage rooms and at our wash sink.

New things we’ll be doing:

  • Some of you may be familiar with the Defense Wipes we offer for after use of the  infrared sauna. We will now be offering these wipes after your massage session as an added measure and peace of mind.

  • Higher frequency of cleaning and sanitation of our entire space.

  • Sanitizing lobby chairs after anyone sits on them

Things we can all do to help:

As many of you have probably already observed this virus is not only disrupting the health and well being of many but is also having major economic consequences. Now more than ever it is important to support your local businesses in whatever ways you can. There are things we can all do to contribute to the success of our neighbors that don't require money or even patronage. Writing a 5 star review for your favorite restaurants, taco trucks, coffee shops and massage spa doesn't require money and can be done in less time than your last Instagram or Facebook post.  Purchase future services and packages. Most businesses, including ours sell gift cards, memberships and packages for future services that can be purchased online or over the phone. Consider making a purchase to keep cash flow going and your favorite places open in the future.

Thank you for your continued support, we look forward to getting through this and serving you all into the future :)

Sincerely,  Dimensions Massage Therapy Team
